The World of Online Makeup Shopping

     Sitting in class tonight I was bored.  I have no idea what gave me the absurd idea to start makeup shopping online.  The next thing I know is that I have my Platinum card out of my wallet and Im shamelessly clicking "Add to Cart".  Why is shopping online so appealing to me?  I can't answer that either.

     I checked several websites (www.nyxcosmetics.com; www.smashbox.com; www.clinique.ca; www.lancome.com).  I ended up settling on Smashbox cosmetics.  They have a lot of cosmetics that would apeal to a younger consumer (like me).  They also have really useful videos by makeup artists.  Another cool site is www.bobbibrowncosmetics.com.  The site had amasing colours and really neat customisable compacts.  The only downside to her site (and its a huge one for me) is price.  Smashbox was at least a little more easier to swallow price-wise.  Below is what I bought:

     The next leg of my adventure will be to find somewhere to buy affordable cosmetic brushes.  For now, Im forced to use paintbrushes bought at the craft store.
